Jewish Heritage Tour Of China

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to explore the unexpected story of Jews in China withour team of expert guides (Professor Dan BenCanaan, Dvir Bar Gal, Shi Lei). Over the course of two weeks discover the amazing story of Jews who arrived in China as merchants over 1000 years ago,learn about the Jewish business moguls who transformed Shanghai and Harbin during the early1900s, and hear personal stories of the Jews who flooded to China during World War II. This tour incorporates the sites relevant to the Jews of China as well as the cities and tourist sites that no trip to China would be complete without. The tour will not only be filled with the exhilaration of discovering a fascinating facet of Jewish history but also seeing the major tourist sites in China.

 $150 per week for Jcc members
Before/after care available for additional fee
 All camps include kosher lunch and snack
Both camps held at Jcc with offsite activities.
