Founded in 1917, the Wilkes-Barre "Branch" continues
to be a vital link to the Jewish Home in Scranton.
Generations of local women have promoted and
advocated the need for the services and care provided
by the Home. Members support the Home by
raising funds to provide parties, picnics, dances,
Chanukah and birthday gifts, entertainment and
"keep-in-touch" visits to the elderly residents.
